Bhubaneswar: Saroj Kanta Mohanty, Chief General Manager ( P& A), IDCO, Bhubaneswar has come under the scanner of the Odisha Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
A team of Vigilance led by 10 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, and other staff on the strength of search warrants is conducting simultaneous house searches at seven places linked with Mohanty in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Jajpur.
The places include – One 3BHK Flat No. 103, Amrita Alayam plot No. GA 437, Sailashree Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar; One 3 BHK Flat No. 201, Tower No. 01, Metro Green Woods, Patapur, Baranga, Cuttack; Paternal house at village Brambhabarada, Dharmasala, Dist-Jajpur; One 3 storeyed building at Mahanadi vihar, Naya bazar, Cuttack, One 2 storeyed residential house located at village Jaraka, Jajpur, House of his relative located at N4/295, IRC Village, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar and Office room of Sri Saroj Kanta Mohanty, Chief General Manager(P & A) IDCO, Bhubaneswar located at IDCO Tower, P & A Deptt. Bhubaneswar.
The house searches are being conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Special. Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
