Bhubaneswar: Institute of Life Sciences Director Dr Ajay Kumar Parida has died of a Heart attack at Guwahati. He had gone to Guwahati to attend a conference. He was 58 years old.
He is a native of Jajpur District and was conferred the Padma Shri in 2014 for his contribution to the field of Science and Technology. Earlier, he had also worked with the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation Chennai.
