Bhubaneswar: Several places in Odisha experienced drizzle and light rainfall early on Friday morning, Regional Meteorological Centre here in city has predicted.
IMD also issued thunderstorm & lightning warning for several districts including Bhadrak, Balasore, Cuttack, Angul, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Ganjam, Kalahandi & Gajapati for the next 24 hours.
Besides, thunder and rainfall alert for one or two places in Deogarh, Angul, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda districts during the afternoon has also been issued.
the present weather condition will prevail in the state for the next two days, the Met office Stated.
While the cold waves and chill of winter will be normalised till January 4, the mercury likely to drop after the rains cease in the state.
