New Delhi: India yet again recorded the biggest daily surge in Covid cases with 81,466 fresh infections in last 24 hours.
The country has also reported 469 daily new death cases, the highest since December 6.
Similarly, Mumbai, the financial capital of the country has reported 8,646 cases of COVID-19 infection, making it the highest one-day spike since the pandemic reached the city early last year. 18 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
