India’s COVID-19 Caseload Crosses 32-Lakh Mark, Death Toll Inches Closer to 60K Mark

New Delhi: With 67,151 more persons testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 caseload on Wednesday crossed the 32-lakh mark.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 32, 34,475 including 7, 07,267 active cases.

The COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 59,449 with 1,059 fatalities in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 24, 67,759 patients have recovered from the virus.

Maharashtra has 1, 66,239 active COVID-19 cases, the highest in the country followed by Andhra Pradesh with 89,932 active cases.
