Bhubaneswar: Private carrier IndiGo has decided to introduce direct flights from Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Odisha’s Jharsuguda to Kolkata and Bengaluru.
The daily flight service from Jharsuguda to Kolkata will start from November 5 and Jharsuguda to Bengaluru from November 15.

Jharsuguda will be the 84th domestic destination of IndiGo. It will be 116th overall destination in the 6E network of the carrier.
The flight service is expected to boost mobility, accessibility, and interstate connectivity, contributing to the region’s industrial and business development.
