Bhubaneswar: In a major breakthrough for the Odisha Forest Department, 5 leopard skins, 1 fishing cat skin and 1 leopard cat skin along with huge quantities of pangolin scales have been seized in Gajapati district. Seven criminals associated with the inter-state gang have also been arrested and court forwarded. The inter-state wildlife smuggling racket was unearthed by the Odisha Forest Department officials in the Chandragiri area of Gajapati district. The kingpin of the racket is said to be absconding and would be arrested soon.
