Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has promoted senior IPS officer Gajbhiye Kumar Gajbhiye to the grade of IG of Police.
A notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department.
“Gajbhiye Satish Kumar (IPS 2002) is promoted to the grade of IG of Police in IPS in Level 14 of pay matrix with effect from 1.1. 2020”, the notification reads.
The place of posting of Gajbhiye will be decided by the Home Department, it added.
