Bhubaneswar: Positive and productive changes in governance can be achieved by utilizing Information Technology for the benefit of the citizens. Initiatives such as the Mo Sarkar, 5T Initiatives and iLMS of the Government of Odisha are backed by the advancements in Information Technology and demonstrate how they can be used to bring in changes in the lives of the people and transform the governance.
Speaking on the occasion of the one day exposure visit of the Judicial Service Probationers to the Lokseba Bhawan on Thursday, Manoj Mishra, Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Odisha appraised the young probationers about the best practices the State Government has been adopting in inculcating Information Technology in governance to achieve the goal of people’s welfare and development.
In his address to the probationers, the IT Secretary has highlighted the emerging technological advancements that are changing the governance system and helping in service delivery.
The interaction with the participants revolved around the use of Information Technology in the pathbreaking Initiatives of the Government of Odisha such as Mo Sarkar, 5T Initiatives and the iLMS that are taking the lead in bringing in change in governance.
