Bhubaneswar: Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Sunil Bansal today said that it will take some time to reach at conclusion in the high profile Naba Das murder case.
Addressing a press meet, the DGP said that the crime branch team is investigating in Jharsuguda. The investigation has been intensified since the first day of the murder. It is going on with utmost transparency to examine all possible angles of the murder. Mere confession is not enough for the conviction of the accused, the top cop said.
He further said that it is tough to reveal the mystery in two or four days in such case. Even though some facts have emerged, it will take some time to reach at conclusion, the DGP added.
The case is being investigated under the supervision of a retired High Court judge.
Details will take time to come. No decision will be reached until the investigation is completed, he said.
The DGP further said that the Odisha Police has sought help of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL). A team of the State
Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) is already at the spot. A CFSL team may arrive soon for further assistance, the top cop added.
