Berhampur: ITI Berhampur, which is well known for its environment friendly efforts, has taken up an important initiative to educate the young generation on energy conservation and management to make them Green Skilled.
As part of this, the Institute organised a unique program named Energy Literacy for green skilling under the Nua Odisha program.
The Institute’s students reached out to the students of Banadevi ITC and Gopabandhu ITC to make them Energy Literate. More than 300 students were made Energy Literate and certified. It is worth mentioning here that more than 2000 students are now Energy literate and certified.
ITI Berhampur is the first institute in the whole country to make its more than two thousand students energy-literate. The Energy Swaraj Foundation has certified ITI Berhampur with the Gold Certificate of Appreciation for making its students Energy Literate.
