Bhubaneswar: Bringing laurels to Odisha, Jagatsinghpur district administration has received the prestigious CSI SIG award for e-governance.
The coastal district’s e-office initiative has bagged the Award of Recognition in 18th CSI SIG E-Governance Awards 2020 under the Project Category ‘Project Category – Central Government Entity’.
The National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of E&IT, Government of India has highly appreciated the district administration as a role model in e-governance.
The e-office implementation of Collectorate Jagatsinghpur is a reference implementation tor other district administrations to follow, said Rachna Srivastava, Deputy Director General, NIC in a letter to Jagatsinghpur Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra.
Srivastava also thanked the Collector for sharing his experience regarding implementation of e-office at Collectorate Jagatsinghpur during the Digital Dialogue for Field Validation held with CSI SIG jury Members in December last year.
