Jharsuguda: In a tragic incident, two minor boys died and their parents seriously injured when an elephant trampled them in Bhaunra village of Kirmira Block of Jharsuguda district. The incident occurred when the two minor boys – Dhanjay and Abhay were sleeping near their brick kiln and the elephant attacked them. Their parents rushed to save them but they were also injured.
The parents have been admitted at the Jharsuguda Hospital. They had come to the village few days back from neighboring Chhattisgarh to work in the Brick kiln. A pall of gloom has descended in the village after the incident.
