Bhawanipatna: In a breakthrough, the Koksara police in Kalahandi district have arrested three inter-district dacoits and recovered property worth Rs 9,00,000.
The accused have been identified as 24-year Bapina Behera (Kalahandi district), Deepak Kumar Shaw (24) of Sundargarh district and Suraj Kumar Majhi (25) of Balangir district.
On the intervening night of December 25 last year, the accused allegedly committed dacoit from the house of one Jajati Prakash Pattjoshi of village Moter, breaking the grill and main entrance forcibly.
The culprits assaulted the inmates and also threatened to kill at the point of fire arm and deadly weapons. The culprits looted gold ornaments about 40 Bhari, one Bullet motorcycle , one LED Samsung TV, two mobile phones and cash of Rs.2000 from the spot house.
Koksara Police investigated the case and used scientific team as well as technical analysis to find out the culprits.
Three accused persons are arrested and forwarded to the court. Gold ornaments, Bullet M/C, Samsung TV, Mobile phones worth of more than Rs. 9,00,000 have been recovered, according to police.
The cops also seized the Bolero vehicle used by the culprits and twp mobile phones were seized during investigation.
Special teams of police officers have been formed to arrest the other culprits as well as the recovery of rest gold ornaments, the police added.
