Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday raided the properties of a forest range officer on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
A team of Odisha Vigilance led by 5 DSsP, 6 Inspectors and other staffs is conducting simultaneous searches at four places linked with Keshab Majhi, Forest Range Officer, Ke Gaon Forest Range in Kalahandi district.
The places include residential tripple storyed building of Majhi located at OM Nagar; Kesinga Town in Kalahandi, office chamber of Majhi located at Kegaon, Kalahandi; residential govt. quarter of Majhi located at Ke gaon and residential house of Majhi located at Brahmani village in Kesinga.
Simultaneous searches are being conducted on the strength of Search Warrants issued by Spl Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna, the Vigilance said.
