Kendrapara: In a major recognition, Rasabali, the famous sweet dish of Odisha’s Kendrapara district, has been accorded the GI (Geographical Indication) tag on Tuesday.
For a long time there has been a demand for GI tag for Rasabali. The application was filed in 2021,it has now been given the GI tag recognition.
Rasabali is the main bhogo of Lord Baladevjew, the presiding deity of Kendrapara.
