Keonjhar Admin to Promote Rural Entrepreneurs through Project ‘UDYAMI’

Keonjhar: The Keonjhar administration has decided to promote rural entrepreneurs in the seven mining-affected blocks in the district.

The district administration has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) to initiate the Project ‘UDYAMI’ to promote rural entrepreneurs.

The MOA was signed in the presence of Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakare and other officials.

As part of the ‘UDYAMI’ project, district level Incubation Center at Keonjhar and 7-Block level Micro Enterprise Resource Centers will be set up. The objective is to support more than 10,000 young individuals in fostering 3,200 enterprises within the non-farm and Agri-allied sectors, the district administration informed.
