Bhubaneswar: Narayan Sahoo, Khariar Block Development Officer in Nuapada district has come under the scanner of Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
“On the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Narayan Sahoo, Block Development Officer, Khariar, Dist:- Nuapada, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 3 DSPs., 10 Inspectors, 4 ASIs and other staff at the five places in Nuapada and Bolangir districts”, the Vigilance said.
The raids are being conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance.
The Vigilance sleuths are searching the BDO’s residential house located at the backside of Vatika Hotel, Sadar P.S. Road Bolangir; his parental house at Kusmel village under Loisingha PS in Bolangir district; his office chamber at Panchayat Samiti Office, Khariar in Nuapada; his residential Govt. Quarter located at Khariar and the residential house of his relative at Bidighat under Sadar Block in Bolangir.
