Hyderabad: Skipper Virat Kohli’s stupendous 94* helped India to chase a 200 plus target against West Indies in the first T20 International (T20) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday.
Kohli received good support from KL Rahul who scored 62 as India overhauled the 200+ target with more than over to spare.
Put into bat, the visitors scored 207 for 5 but India achieved the target, scoring 209 for four in 18.4 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
