Bhubaneswar: The Bureau of Immigration (BOI), on the request of Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has issued lookout circular against two absconding accused in the job fraud case.
The accused has been identified as Bhiku Bisoi, a native of Ganjam district in Odisha, and Manikandan of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Both are the directors of Kinney Infotech Pvt. Ltd
They have allegedly duped hundreds of job seekers in southern Odisha. Accused are also wanted by Punjab police in some other case.
A case in this connection was registered with EOW in April under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 B of IPC r.w Section 66(C) and 66 (D) of IT Act, 2000.
The EOW had registered the case after taking over the investigation from Bhanjanagar police.
It had been alleged that Kinney Infotech Pvt. Ltd. through its office bearers had collected huge amount of money from a large number of Job seekers for providing job/work from home opportunity, etc. and subsequently duped the job seekers to the tune of more than Rs one crore.
The accused person are also directors of other companies, such as Bisoyi Food & Beverage Private Limited, Bisoyi Real Estate Private Limited, Bisoyi Gifts & Entertainment Private limited, Gomata Dairy Private Limited, Indobritt Textiles Private Limited, Bisoyi Electronics Private Limited and Kinney Infotech Private Limited.
