Bhubaneswar: A delegation of Madhya Pradesh Government has praised Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian for the High School Transformation programme.
A team of Madhya Pradesh Government’s Panchayat and Rural Development Department visited Odisha on Thursday to learn about the 5T High School Transformation programme, which is being implemented as part of the 5T initiatives of the Odisha Government to give facelift to the existing state-run schools with modern facilities.
The exposure tour was organized by the UNICEF.
The MP delegation visited Gopabandhu Memorial High School, a transformed school at Dandamukundapur village in Pipli block in Puri district, as per reports.
The officials of Madhya Pradesh government were mesmerized at the state-of-the-art infrastructure development of the Gopabandhu Memorial High School and its renovated construction style.
The team explored the various facilities available at the school meant for the holistic development of the students.
The MP delegation visited the smart class room, computer labs, playground and other facilities.
The team has highly appreciated Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Secretary VK Pandian for the transformative initiative.
The MP officials said that they would replicate the same model in their State for the transformation of the schools.
