Major Mishap Averted: Wagons of Goods Train Get Separated From Middle In Kesinga

Bhubaneswar: In a freak incident that could have triggered a major accident, several wagons of a goods train belonging to Nalco got separated from the rest of the train at Kesinga Railway Station. About half of the alumina laden wagons got separated due to technical fault and the engine with the remaining bogies moved ahead for a small distance. The alumina wagon train was going to Angul from Damanjodi. The loco pilot immediately stopped the train and the separated wagons were reattached to the train. A major mishap has been averted with the alertness of the loco pilot.
