Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the State and directed the official to make all Covid hospitals functional within 10 days.
At the high level meeting with the top officials of different departments and district Collectors, the Chief Minister has categorically directed them to keep all government and non-government Covid hospitals ready within 10 days.
The CM directed them to take necessary steps to keep maximum beds and ICUs in fully operational mode as done during the peak of the second wave of the pandemic last year.
He also instructed the officials to meet the vaccination target on priority basis with focus on vaccination of the 15-18 age group.
The CM recommended selective restrictions to prevent the spread of the virus cases without affecting the livelihood of people.
He also once again appealed to the people to follow COVID protocols sincerely.
