So many festive occasions, means a countless number of beauty looks to try. Kajol R. Paswwan, Celebrity make-up artist discusses her go-to holiday looks that you can create in under 10 minutes, even on the go
The Classic Smoky Eye – The Classic Smokey eye craze never goes out of style and if you are confused about your eye makeup look, then make this one has to be your go-to makeup look. You can give a fresh touch to the smoky eye look makeup by using brown as the base colour for a smoky eye instead of black. This look uses a smudged light brown kohl on the lower lash line and a subtle brown eyeshadow mixed with black shadow on the crease area to soften it. Don’t be afraid to smudge a bit of kohl pencil on your lids and lower lash lines. You can also go minimal with the rest of the face and pair this look with nude lipstick or a gloss and soft flushed cheeks. It is the ideal makeup look to match all your outfits, making you look hot and sultry this festive season.
Golden glam – Is any festive season makeup complete without glitter or shimmer? Nope, not at all. If you love bling, then go with gold or rose gold shimmer shadow on your eyes. Just make sure it is not over the top and yet it manages to steal the limelight. You can use champagne coloured shimmers on your lid area and soften it with brown eye shadow in the crease. This jazzes up the look. You can team it with a perfect pink lips keeping your cheeks soft pink.
Bronze Glimmer – If you love to experiment and go all out with your eye makeup, then you should watch out for the metallic trends that are in this festive season. You can experiment with silver or bronze hues this season but bronze glimmer is my personal favourite. You can use a transition shade on your lids and a brown eyeshadow stick on the outer corners of your lids. Blend properly and go over your lids with a bit of gold glitter pigments and follow it up with a brown kohl on the lashlines and finish it with a good mascara. Keep your face really subtle because the eyes will catch most of the attention. You can pair this look with light bronzed cheeks and a subtle lipstick while keeping your eye looking super attractive.
If you feel comfortable doing so, try experimenting with eyeliners in different colours. You can choose from crimson lipsticks and winged eyeliners. Keeping the base simple and experimenting with strong, brilliant colours. Your cheekbones should be highlighted well, and you’re good to go. You can use them to achieve the ideal dazzling and fascinating appearance at any event or festival.
