Bhubaneswar: The vigilance officials today intercepted Ashish Kumar Dash, Superintending Engineer, Rural Works, Malkangiri and seized unaccounted cash worth Rs 10.23 lakh from his possession.
“Today at aound 2.15 PM Sri Ashish Kumar Dash, Superintending Engineer, Rural Works, Malkangiri has been intercepted at Malkangiri by a team of Odisha Vigilance, basing on credible information about moving with ill gotten huge cash of more than ten lakhs”, the vigilance said.
During interception Rs.10,23,970 cash found in his possession. Simultaneous search of his residential quarter, office etc. at Malkangiri is being conducted, it added.
