Berhampur: A 42-year old man was arrested by Berhampur Police for allegedly stalking a girl.
The accused has been identified as Sankasan Sahu alias Ulla Sahu of Dhamana Sahi under Gosaninuagaon PS, Berhampur.
The mother of the 17-year old girl complained that Ulla Sahu and his diver abused her daughter in filthy language and threatened her.
During the police investigation, it came to light that Ulla was stalking the victim girl since six months and was using words and gesture insulting her modesty in public places.
Last evening, Ulla again abused the girl in filthy language and threatened her with dire consequences.
The accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on, Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M informed.
A case has been registered against Ulla Sahu in Gosaninuagaon PS under U/S 294/506/34 IPC.
