Cuttack: The Odisha Government contemplating to take action against the against the teachers of these schools which have registered zero results in the HSC examination, the results of which were declared today.
As many as 82 such high schools are there which have registered zero results in the HSC examination. Similarly, 289 schools recorded 100% results.
Speaking to media, School and Mass Education Department secretary Pradipta Mohapatra, said action will be taken against the teachers of these schools.
The total pass percentage is 70.78%.
While Jharsuguda district registered maximum results while Koraput district stands at the bottom.
The pass rate has decreased about 6% than the previous year.
On the decreasing pass rate, the Secretary clarified that due to several measures taken by the department to check malpractice have led to decreasing pass percentage.
