Bhubaneswar: A Gram Rojgar Sevak (GRS) in Mayurbhanj district has been arrested on Wednesday for allegedly taking bribe from a MNREGS labour leader.
The GRS has been identified as Gouramohan Soren of Analakuda GP under Suliapada block.
The vigilance sleuths apprehended Soren while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 9000 from the MNREGS labour leader for release of Muster Roll for engagement of laborers in MGNREGS work.
The investigation in the matter is in progress, the vigilance stated.
