Bhubaneswar: With Odisha gearing up for massive COVID-19 vaccination drive, medical essentials such as syringes and Ice Lined Refrigerator (ILRs) have arrived in the State for the vaccination.
As many as 21 lakh syringes and 26 Ice lined Refrigerators (ILRs) for storage of the vaccine reached the State on Tuesday, according to the Health Department.
Over 339 ILRs will be arranged for the vaccination programme.
The Odisha Government is fully prepared for Covid-19 vaccination in the state, and logistics system has been set up for its smooth conduct, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had said earlier.
In the first phase, doctors, health workers who are our Corona warriors and elderly persons will be administered the vaccine free of cost.
