Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the three northern districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore on 23rd August. The IMD has issued Yellow Warning for 17 districts in the coastal and interior Odisha which will experience isolated rains along with isolated thunderstorm and lightning. For 24th August, the Met Department has issued Yellow Warning for 14 districts. The rains in the coastal and interior districts of the state are likely to further add to the woos of the people in the flood affected areas.
