New Delhi: Ganjam district has won appreciation from the Centre for excellent performance in implementing Mission Indradhanush in the Districts.
In a silver jubilee function of pulse polio immunisation programme held in New Delhi today, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has received the “Certificate of Appreciation” for achieving 90% full immunization coverage during intensified Mission Indradhanush 2017-18 from the union health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan.
Speaking to thenewsroom.co.in exclusively, the soft spoken Kulange has given all credit to field level staffs right from Asha worker to Block Development Officers of the districts for the success.
“It’s teamwork of health team and Asha workers monitored by BDOs”, Kulange said.
Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Dr. Vijay Kumar Panigrahi has also accompanied collector to receive the certificate of appreciation.
