Rourkela: In a order to ensure people stay indoors during the COVID-19 lockdown period, the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) has roped in the women self-help groups of Mission Shakti to supply vegetables at the doorsteps of people.
The Mission Shakti Group members are supplying fresh vegetables at the doorsteps of people residing in different wards of Rourkela at a reasonable price.
The doorstep delivery system has become essential as people are frequently visiting market places to buy essentials and often violate lockdown guidelines, a RMC official said.
