Bhubaneswar: After getting stupendous response to Mo School Abhiyan from various quarters, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed former students to adopt government schools under the initiative.
The Chief Minister has requested the former students to adopt their alma mater or any government school of their choice under the programme to bring a transformation in the school atmosphere.
In a message to the old students, Naveen said, “You have established yourself in the society because of your talent and ability. The school, where you have studied, has been instrumental in your success. The school has given us a lot, shaped us and strengthened our commitment to reach our goals”.
The Chief Minister urged them to involve in the ‘Mo School’ campaign to develop the overall school education system and set examples for others.
Earlier, Naveen requested all the judges of the Orissa High Court, two Union ministers, all the MPs, and MLAs from Odisha to adopted government schools in a bid to bring transformation in the school atmosphere.
The ‘Mo School’ Abhiyan was launched on Children’s Day in 2017 to bring together the alumni, their alma mater, and the community for the transformation of government and government-aided schools.
