Bhubaneswar: The first found of polygraph test of dismissed ASI Gopal Das, the lone accused in the former Health Minister Naba Das murder case, was held at SFSL, DFSS Gandhinagar in Gujarat as per the orders of the court, informed the CID Crime Branch of Odisha Police on Thursday.
The polygraph test will continue tomorrow. Narco test will also be conducted tomorrow after detailed medical examination of the accused, the Crime Branch said in a statement regarding progress of the investigation
An 8-member team led by the IO DSP Ramesh Chandra Dora is camping at Gujarat for the tests.
The Forensic Psychological Assessment and LVA Test of accused Gopal Krishna have been completed by the team of CFSL, New Delhi at Jharsuguda. The special Medical Board consisting of Psychiatry doctors has conducted a detail study of the mental health of accused at Jharsuguda. The report is awaited, the CB said.
Earlier, the Experts from SFSL and the CB team recreated the Crime Scene. The team also analyzed the physical clues collected during investigation of the case.
The financial transaction of the accused and his family matters are being verified and analyzed by a team of CB.
The documents and evidences collected by various teams are being scrutinized and analyzed to ascertain the motive of the murder. The detailed service verification of the accused is also being carried out by a team of CB, headed by a DSP.
The ADGP, CID Crime Branch is camping at Gandhinagar to personally monitor and supervise the investigation of the case, the Crime Branch stated.
Earlier, Gopal Krishna Das has been brought on further remand of 5 days from Wednesday for continued interrogation.
