Puri: On the occasion of National Press Day, the Puri district administration today held a meeting cum deliberations on the topic, ‘Reporting-Interpretations: a Journey’ to signify the role of press in the society.
The event organized by the District Information and Public Relations Officer Gurbir Singh saw participation of several noted media persons and intellectuals.
The meritorious students also participated in the debate competition on the topic.
Puri Collector Balwant Singh and SP Uma Sankar Dash gave away prizes and certificates to the students. They also distributed Health Insurance Cards (renewal) to a few journalists.
