Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced holiday for schools and colleges across the state on 27th January. The Holiday has been declared on the occasion of the inauguration of the Samalei Project in Sambalpur. The inauguration ceremony of the Samalei Project for the development of one of Odisha’s most revered Shakti Peethas of Maa Samaleswari, the presiding Goddess of Western Odisha, is being held on January 27th . The Holiday has been declared so that all the devotees can happily participate in this program and offer prayers to the Goddess.
