Bhubaneswar: In a further boost to the healthcare sector in Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the appointment of 1,181 Medical Officers under OMHS Cadre.
To provide better healthcare to the people of Odisha, recruitment of Medical Officers is being conducted on regular basis through the Odisha Public Service Commission, Cuttack, the Health and Family Welfare Department said.
“In this regard, kind orders of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has been obtained for issue of appointment orders in favour of 1,181 Medical Officers under OMHS Cadre with their allotted districts selected through online counselling conducted by NIC, Bhubaneswar”, the Department added.
