Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has commended the commitment of healthcare workers as Odisha has administered more than 40 lakh vaccine doses.

Odisha has administered more than 40 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine successfully to the healthcare workers, frontline workers and 45 years & above citizens in a period of 70 days (16.01.2021 to 09.04.2021 excluding holidays), the Health and Family Welfare Department said.
The first 10 lakh doses of vaccine were administered in 45 days, second 10 lakh doses in 11 days, third 10 lakh doses in 8 days and fourth 10 lakh doses in 6 days.
