Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of former MLA and Biju Shramik Samukhya (BSS) President Rajendra Prasad Singh, who passed away on Tuesday.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister said that he was saddened to learn about the demise of former Janata Dal MLA, veteran labour leader and BSS President Rajendra Prasad Singh.
Rajendra Prasad Singh will always be remembered for his people-centric welfare works, the CM said.
ପୂର୍ବତନ ଜନତା ଦଳର ବିଧାୟକ ତଥା ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଶ୍ରମିକ ନେତା, ବିଜୁ ଶ୍ରମିକ ସାମ୍ମୁଖ୍ୟର ସଭାପତି ରାଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରସାଦ ସିଂଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ନିଜ ଜନକଲ୍ୟାଣକାରୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ହୋଇ ରହିବେ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Singh, who was a Janata Dal MLA from 1990 to 1995 in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, passed away at his residence in Cuttack due to heart attack, according to reports. He was 78.
