Naveen Congratulates Two Nonagenarian Patients Who Won Battle against COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated two nonagenarian COVID-19 patients, who successfully fought the battle against the coronavirus, and said that their victory will boost morale of other patients to defeat the virus.

“Congratulate nonagenarian Satchidananda Mohanty and Dhirendranath Das on successfully winning the battle against COVID-19”, the CM tweeted.

“Your win will enthuse COVID warriors and boost morale of COVID-19 patients to stay strong to defeat coronavirus”, Naveen expressed.

Satchidananda Mohanty and Dhirendranath Das (both aged 91) were admitted to dedicated COVID-19 hospitals in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar respectively on September 5 after being diagnosed with the disease. They were cured of the virus and were discharged on Sunday night, according to reports.
