Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday felicitated Odia Jawan Sangram Keshari Jena who recently set a world record by displaying dare-devil stunts on moving motorcycle.
The Odia Jawan set the record by covering a distance of 128 km while standing backwards on a ladder atop a moving motorcycle at a show organised at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.
He was part of the Daredevils’ Motorcycle Display Team of the Indian Army Corps of Signals. He broke the previous record of BSF’s Avdesh Singh, who rode the bike for 68 km.
Felicitating the Jawan, the Chief Minister encouraged him to achieve more success in future.
