Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has wished all on the occasion of the Pakhala Dibasa. Taking to twitter, Naveen wrote “Pakhaal is one of the unique dishes of Odia cuisine. It is unique among the diversity of our food. Greetings to all on Pakhala divas and I call upon all to spread this Odia food with determination and collective efforts.
Pakhala Dibasa is celebrated across the world on the 20th of March 2023. Pakhala is an Odia cuisine consisting of cooked and fermented rice eaten with a variety of vegetarian and non-veg side dishes. On this day, people prepare Pakahala at their homes, hotels offers various types of dishes and many people celebrate the day by organizing parties.
