Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of festival of Raja Parba in the state.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister appealed all make the festival special at their homes following the COVID-19 guidelines.

Raja, an agrarian festival, is observed by the people of the state particularly girls every year to welcome the monsoon before the start of the agriculture activities.
The festival is celebrated for three days across the state. The first day is called ‘Pahili Raja’ and the second and third day of the festival known as ‘Raja Sankranti’ and ‘Bhuindahana’ respectively.
In view of the Coronavirus pandemic situation, the Odisha Government has banned all kinds of outdoor activities like community gathering, Raja Doli, Bagudi, Card Playing etc during the Raja festival.
