Bargarh: Biju Janata Dal Supremo Naveen Patnaik will today hit the high profile campaign trail in Bijepur. He will be addressing a large number of election rallies and undertake road shows in Bijepur constituency. He will campaign for party candidate Rita Sahu. Elections are to be held on the 21st October.
Naveen will reach Bargarh at 10 30 am and is scheduled to address about thirty way side gatherings in Kurkuta, Patharla, Saipali, Kharmunda, Charpali, Kalangapali, Bijepur, Bandhapali, Barpali, Remta , kumbari and other places. He will participate in a road show in Barpali with other senior party leaders. The Chief Minister is scheduled to take night halt in Bargarh tonight.
Bijepur elections are going to be a cake walk for the Biju Janata Dal as Rita Sahu has the huge support of people and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is personally monitoring the development of the area. The Chief Minister won the Bijepur constituency in the last legislative elections on the behest of the people of western Odisha but retained his traditional Hinjili seat. The Chief Minister has assured and sanctioned huge infrastructure projects for the area.
Now that the development of western Odisha is a top priority for the state government and many developmental works undergoing, Rita Sahu’s win is a mere formality.
