Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated Senior Officers’ Conference at the new convention centre inside the Lokseva Bhavan premises here in city.
The conference provides a forum to all officers at the senior echelon to get together and deliberate the roadmap for all round growth of the State over the next five years.
The first of its kind conference has been planned to enable the participants to draw up a reform agenda for the next five years that would place Odisha in the forefront of States with fast pace and inclusive socio-economic growth.
In the first half of the conference, group of Secretaries would make presentation on the themes, namely, new-age technology and innovation, Odisha: leveraging soft power, infrastructure for growth, liveable, sustainable and inclusive, the future cities of Odisha and inclusive governance.
The second half of the conference would be dedicated for the issues and challenges faced in day to day administration and public service delivery, wherein presentations would be made by the groups of Collectors on the themes, “Livelihood, health, school education, women empowerment and governance challenges at district level.
All IAS officers of Odisha, including all Secretaries and district Collectors have attended the one-day brainstorming.
