Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has offered his humble tributes to Odia jawan Subash Nayak, who was martyred in the encounter with Maoists at Sukma-Bijapur border in Chhattisgarh.
In a Twitter post, the Chief Minister expressed that the Odia hero will always be remembered for his courage, strength and sacrifice.
Naveen also conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family of Subash Nayak and prayed peace to the departed soul.
ଛତିଶଗଡ଼ର ସୁକମାରେ ମାଓବାଦୀଙ୍କ ସହ ଲଢ଼ି ଶହୀଦ ହୋଇଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ବୀର ଯବାନ ସୁବାସ ନାଏକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଜଣାଉଛି। ତାଙ୍କର ସାହସ, ପରାକ୍ରମ ଓ ବଳିଦାନ ପାଇଁ ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ରହିବେ। ଏଭଳି ଦୁଃଖଦ ସମୟରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରୁଛି।

Subash Nayak, a resident of Koksara block in Kalahandi district, was working as a constable with district reserve guard DRG battalion.
Nayak was among the 22 security personnel killed in the encounter with Maoists in Sukma-Bijapur border area in Chhattisgarh.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son.
