Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik spoke to two doctors treating patients at SUM COVID Hospital here and appreciated their dedication and commitment to save previous lives.
The Chief Minister spoke to Dr. Iswar Chandra Behera and Dr. Pradipta Patra of SUM COVID Hospital and lauded their utmost dedication and hard work in treating the patients.
Naveen also praised the dedication of the entire team at SUM COVID Hospital, which helped Odisha to achieve high recovery.
The doctors treating COVID-19 patients are our frontline warriors working with utmost dedication and huge commitment to save every precious life, the Chief Minister posted on his twitter handle after talking to the doctors.
Dr. Iswar Chandra Behera is a Critical Care specialist, while Dr. Pradipta Patra is an renowned immunologist.
Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian also talked to the doctors and praised their commitment and dedication in the fight against coronavirus.
Notably, the SUM COVID Hospital in Bhubaneswar is the largest COVID hospital in the State. The hospital was set up with the support of the State Government at the outbreak of the pandemic in Odisha.
SUM also operates three other dedicated COVID-19 hospitals at Kendrapara, Talcher and Chandpur. The combined bed strengthen of the four hospitals is more than 2200.
