Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday remember former President of India and Bharat Ratna Varahagiri Venkata Giri and his contribution to the country’s freedom struggle.
VV Giri was born on this day in 1894 in Berhampur, Madras Presidency (present-day Odisha). He was the fourth president of India from 24 August 1969 to 24 August 1974.
