Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the election result of the Patkura Assembly constituency in Kendrapara district with the senior party leaders here today.
While the ruling party had registered victory in the crucial election whose result was declared on Wednesday, Naveen wanted to know the reasons for the low vote margin, sources said.
The BJD leaders discussed how many votes the party had got from each booth and panchayat.
In meeting, the Chief Minister directed the leaders to speed up the development works in Patkura.
The senior BJD leaders such as Arun Sahoo, Prafulla Mallick, Ranendra Pratap Swain, Devi Mishra, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Pradeep Panigrahi, Pratap Deb, Pranab Prakash Das and Sanjay Das Burma were present in the meeting.
