Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reviewed the COVID-19 situation in the State and stressed the need to administer booster doses to frontline workers and senior citizens.
The Chief Minister said that the number of active COVID-19 patients in the State is currently stable and there has been a drop in new positive cases. In the third wave of pandemic, there is not much pressure on the hospitals. However, there is no scope for complacency, he said.
The CM directed the administration to remain vigilant and closely monitor the situation. He also urged the officials to continue the awareness drive across the State with the support of Mission Shakti groups.
